It cleans and degreases your dishes without leaving a trace. Economical, the Washing-up Cake represents the equivalent of 3-4 bottles of 500ml of washing-up liquid. It will last several months! Instructions for use
The Solid Washing-up Cake and its Ceramic Dish:
Position the Solid Washing-up Cake with its ceramic dish (sold separately) near your sink.
Moisten your sponge or brush under the tap and lightly rub the Solid Washing-up Cake… watch it foam up!
Next, wash your dishes like you usually would… only now you’ll be contributing to the planet!
Do not drench the Solid Washing-up Cake and avoid leaving water on it after use. The sponge only needs dampening before extracting the product, which saves leaving excess water on the Cake. After use, let it dry: the small amount of excess water on the surface of the Cake will evaporate.
Once the Solid Washing-up Cake is finished, you can clean the dish with a sponge and some hot water, dry it and insert a new Solid Cake (available in bulk for refill).
Caution: keep out of reach of children, avoid any contact with eyes. Do not ingest. In case of projecting in the eyes, abundantly rinse with clear water. Remove contact lenses if wearing any. If irritation or a rash occurs, consult a doctor.
The Wooden Dish Brush:
Moisten your brush a little, lightly rub the Solid Washing-up Cake to get some product, it foams: scrub your dishes.
For prolonged use, do not leave your brush in the water and let it air dry after use.
Ideally, you should hang it up using its metallic hook.
You can preserve the quality of the handle and increase the longevity by covering it with food-grade canola oil or flaxseed oil (like the ones used for cooking) about every 6 months. Do not use just any oil, some will give the wood an uncomfortable smell.
Save money: when the bristles of the brush are too old, you can replace only the head of the brush and keep the same handle.
How to change the head?
Pull down the ring towards the handle, and take out the old head.
Place the new head between the 2 metallic parts and pull up the ring towards the head to keep it firmly in place.

The Solid Washing-up Cake is certified organic and made in France from the following ingredients:
- Washing-up base formula certified with organic ingredients by ECOCERT Greenlife (more than 30% anionic surfactants)
- White vinegar
- Natural scent of sweet almond
The Ceramic Dish:
Dish made in Spain from 100% ceramic.
Engraved in Brittany (France).
The Wooden Dish Brush:
Certified FSC/PEFS untreated beechwood from sustainably managed forests.
Natural agave fibres.
The head is compostable and biodegradable at the end of its life.
Packaging & Delivery
All our products are delivered without any individual wrapping or packaging, except to post your order to you – and we’re still trying to figure out a solution for that!
We favour recycled and biodegradable cardboard boxes and filling (100% biodegradable and compostable eco-flo packing peanuts that dissolve in a few minutes in water). We also use recovered materials (cardboard boxes and filling received during our own orders or recovered from our relatives or professional partners).
Preparation and shipping of your order are ensured by our care within 1 to 2 working days maximum.

This washing up cake is just wonderful. I haven’t had to use chemical liquid at all since I got this product. It’s effective even on greasy pans and foams up nicely.. and lasts a long time too. Great value for money.

Great service and great product! Everything arrived in time, payment processed without issues. The product is exactly as described and super easy to use. I would definitely recommend this pack – the washing up cake and the brush compliment each other and they are fun to use. The cake leaves the dishes shiny and smells super lovely. Regular fairy liquid used to leave my hands dry and even flaky but Solide! is not just better for the environment but also does wonders for your skin!
